Noel Clarke at Latimer Talks

Last #LatimerTalks we had the privilege of hearing from Noel Clarke ahead of the release of his latest film in the Kidulthood series, Brotherhood.

Noel spoke to a packed out room of aspiring actors, producers, directors and more about the success of the series and how it came about. Taking pretty intense questions from the audience, and talking us through his journey, Noel shared that his inspiration stemmed from a drive to just be real.

Noel saw where he lived represented on screen in movies like Notting Hill, but not what he lived. He was inspired to show his reality:

“I didn’t write to see change, I just wanted to show where I was from and the things I saw.”
