Attitudes toward digital making are overwhelming positive in the UK, according to a report published by innovation charity Nesta.
With 82% of young people saying they’re interested in digital making and 89% of parents and carers saying they thought it was a worthwhile activity, investing in digital education is a no-brainer. However for many young people, knowing where to start is still a daunting task.
This is why we’re pleased to announce that Latimer are currently working with Nesta’s Make Things Do Stuff, the UK’s number one community for all things digital, to help unite digital makers and amplify their communities through social media. Our hope is to help encourage funders, policy makers and educators to support and adopt practices of new digital-making organisations, as the demand for these skills continues to increase.
